Silver Legacy Resort Casino
Fortune Pai Gow Poker Progressive is now available at Silver Legacy. This version of Fortune Pai Gow Poker is different in that it allows players the chance to win an incrementing jackpot.

Local and non-local guests who cash their paychecks at Silver Legacy will receive a "Payday Ace" and one free drink. The ace can be used on the Blackjack table for one hand.

Silver Legacy is offering golf packages to guests, starting at $79 (double occupancy), that include a night of accommodations, one round of golf at Rosewood Lakes and round-trip airport tranfers. (Weekend rates are higher.)


Eldorado Hotel Casino
This summer, the Eldorado is hosting a new Friday Night Summer Concert Series, which takes place in the Eldorado Casino Cabaret. Performers have included Jimi Jamison, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band and Journey Unauthorized. The concerts start at 9 p.m.

The big news out of the Eldorado Hotel Casino is its recent domination in the 11th Annual Nevada Magazine Best of Nevada Readers Poll. The Eldorado took home first place in several areas, including best brew pub and hottest nightclub.


The Bonanza Casino
2008 marks the 35th anniversary of Bonanza Casino, a family owned casino hotel that boasts 450 of the newest slots in town.


John Ascuaga's Nugget
The Nuggettes are all the rage at John Ascuaga's Nugget right now. The Nuggettes are ladies who work the casino floor on Friday nights from 4 to 10, handing out cash prizes to random casino patrons. The kicker? Patrons must be using their John Club Card. Don't think you can just walk in and get free stuff from pretty ladies for nothing!

John Ascuaga's Nugget just finished some major renovation to more than 600 of its guest rooms in the East Tower. The rooms were given a facelift and now are outfitted with sleek plasma TVs, marble floors, granite accents and wireless Internet access.


Grand Sierra Resort
Getting ready to have a baby? Before you do, you've got to go on your babymoon, or basically your last hurrah before that bundle of joy arrives and shakes up your world. The Grand Sierra Resort is offering babymoon packages to parents-to-be, complete with spa services to help you relax before the big day.


Harrah's Reno
In May, Harrah's Reno launched its free music series, featuring weekly concerts on Harrah's Plaza every Friday night. The free series runs through September and concerts are from 8 to 10 p.m.


Peppermill Resort Casino
The next phase of construction is underway at the Peppermill Resort Casino. The hotel is in the process of building a $400 million three-story spa, salon, restaurant and nightclub.
